COCPIT Project at AlgaEurope 2025

The beginning of 2026 also marks the start of our participation in events and conferences where we will present the COCPIT project.

Before that, we would like to highlight the final event of 2025 where our research was presented.
During AlgaEurope 2025 in Riga, a conference dedicated to science, technology, and business in the algal biomass sector and organised by the European Algae Biomass Association and DLG Markets Benelux, our colleague Thibault Combroux from Nantes University presented research conducted within his PhD programme and as part of the COCPIT project.

His presentation focused on the study “Parachlorella kessleri growth response to dark fraction in an intensified photobioreactor exposed to highlight stress.” In particular, he shared the results of his PhD research on Parachlorella kessleri cultivated in an intensified photobioreactor (Algofilm at the AlgoSolis R&D facility). The work is carried out under the supervision of Mariana Titica, Pierre Albrand, and Jérémy Pruvost, with the support of Hélène Marec at the GEPEA Laboratory.
