Over the past two years, project partners have actively promoted COCPIT across various European schools and institutes. Indeed, a core objective of our research is to ensure robust social engagement and open science. In line with this mission, COCPIT partners act as ambassadors of science, with each partner committed to visiting at least one school.
To date, the following activities have been carried out:

The COCPIT project was presented to the students at the Lycée Gabriel Guist’hau in Nantes. Thanks to the collaboration between our colleague Angelica Raharjo from IMT Atlantique and Brunehilde Richard (the school’s science outreach coordinator), students had the opportunity to discover the project’s vision for sustainable innovation and cutting-edge biomass research.
A group of Danish and Italian exchange students from Aalborghus Gymnasium visited the AAU Biolab. During the visit our colleague Swanand Bhatwadekar from Aalborg University presented the COCPIT project activities, focusing on the fundamentals of Hydrothermal Liquefaction (HTL) and hydrotreatment processes to showcase the future of sustainable aviation fuels.

Nantes Univeristy: Dissemination project planned in a high school in), targeting high school students in the European section, specializing in Life and Earth Sciences (SVT).

Project Coordinator Sary Awad (IMT Atlantique) presented the COCPIT project at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik. The event served as a key opportunity to act as ambassadors of science outside European borders, sharing COCPIT’s vision for biomass research, circular economy, and sustainable innovation with Lebanese students and researchers.
